Suzette
Hi all,
this is my new girl and i named her "Suzette'. I drew her like a million years ago and finally made up my mind to color her on photoshop.
she reminds me of one of the models from an 80's Jc penny catalogue! I just love the vintage Catalogues and the color block outfits.
I must Draw more, i haven't committed to drawing that much lately.
Enjoy!

Inspiration - Jennifer Lilya
Recently i was writing an article about how Barbie influences a woman's life (check it out here http://ludmilabopitiya.tumblr.com/) and was doing some research online. Barbie has been a huge influence in my life and as a fashion illustrator i can relate my style to the look of the barbie. so what i want to say here is that, i have been going through works of a lot of illustrators but never really found one who i can relate to until recently.
She's called Jennifer Lilya. I came across her site and has been hooked since then. Her girls looks so much like barbie dolls to me. they are all colorful, fun and gorgeous!
she has been drawing since the 90's and has more than 7000 fans on her Facebook Page! Yes! it's impressive! and she's such a lovely lady, who accepts her friend requests in a flash and ALWAYS comment back with feedback! I want be successful like her one day! here are some of her girls. check her website for more breathtaking Lilya Girls (http://www.jenniferlilya.com/)

Whats your favorite?
I came up with two sketches of the same pic and im in a dilemma to choose what i like most! I saw the second one sometime back for i have been following Kathryn Elyse for sometime now. Her work is Divine. and i stumbled upon the other artist just a while ago through the blog of a novelist called Hannah
I think i like them both equally but a teeny bit more for Kathryn Elyse for her GLITTER!
Check out the artists blogs below

Vintage Ludees
Hi everyone,
thought of posting some vintage illustrations. well i call them vintage not because they were done long ago ( they were done in 2006/2007) but my style has developed a lot since then. i love going back to my old sketches, they remind me how badly i wanted to draw. i have genuine vintage illustrations i did back in school. must find them and will upload them for you'll to see someday soon!
Enjoy

Zoya
‘Zoya’ was drawn way back in April 2009 during a vacation. She was hidden deep inside a file and I thought I should name her and give her some fame.
I usually colour the whole skin but in this I tried only the outlining only because I was running out of tan colour of my copic markers. I love the way she has come up and her smoky eyes, which gives depth into her beauty.
Its one of my earliest illustrations after graduating and I regret those few years I spent without drawing and trying to find a basic commercial way of living. I thank god and my lucky stars for bringing me back into the same territory where I feel eternally satisfied and content with what I do…Illustration!
Enjoy my 'Chloe'
