The Silhouette Collection

I was inspired to do a Silhouette collection after going through some products from ETSY, and this is what I ended up with. This was done a few months back and I can’t really remember when. Must be around June.

My favourite is the DIVA. She came out really nice, and I even printed her on a tote bag but sadly I don’t have a picture of that.

I’m listening to Mariah Carey right now and she’s amazing! I think I might do an artwork of her as well.

Haven’t had the time to write about my inspirations in a while. So here I go. one of the other artists I’m in love with is the scarlettcat blogspot. She’s a self-taught artist who draws flirty, quirky big-eyed girls.

They are simply amazing and the detail she has put into each girl is astounding. I love the way she renders the hair. Wish I had the patience to do likewise. And also notice the hands. They are so soft and elegant. I have to get back in touch with my pencils. I miss them so much. I have been too obsessed with photoshop lately and ignored my paper and pencil...

So This is Christmas...

I have been working on my first Christmas cards collection for the past few weeks and I love how it came up. As for the start I did 5 art works and the prints just arrived today.

The cards are printed in 8” by 6” ivory gloss boards and include a verse inside and completes with a red color envelope. The cards are priced at 150/= per card and if minimum of 5 orders are made, the delivery would be done at a convenient place for the buyer.
