You'll be the Prince and i'll be the Princess...

Its a love story.. baby just say yes...

She's my collage princess, did a quick job with her just to relax my head after a very stressful work day! She came out quite nice! she's an inspiration from Taylor Swifts "love story". I cant stop listening to that song.
and I love the John Schmidt version of the love story meets vival la vida. check it out!

My Next Girl

This is the next girl I’m going to work on. Haven’t decided on a name for her yet. But I feel it’s going to be a Russian or a Swedish.

I love the way her face came out. There’s a lot to work on and I’m looking forward for it.
I will have to start on the Christmas girls for 2010. I’m planning to print a few cards and put it out at Dilly’s if they do accept or if not I might promote them on my facebook fan page. (Which I created last night)
Also I’m busy these days writing some articles for “the modelz magazine” and I’m still clueless of what to choose and what to write again. It’s basically targeted at the trendier community so it has to be something, which interests them! Lets see. I will upload the write up once its finalized.

Till the next time…

S.L.U.T.S - Sophisticated Ladies United To Socialize

I’ve been wanting to do an artwork for this slogan for sometime and did it finally. It took me five hours on a Thursday morning to complete it. And I didn’t even feel the time running.

They came out really well; I love the second girl the most. But all of them look simply amazing. I dedicate this artwork to all my lovely ladies who have been a part of my life and were good friends to me and continues to be so!

Enjoy my S.L.U.T.S

Plaster Dolls

This is one awesome blog I have been so obsessed with. The artist is so creative and I love the way she incorporates the runway fashion to her girls! And look at the Photoshop skills! I wish I had the same amount of talent!

Plaster Dolls remind me of my days playing with my beloved cousin sisters. We used to play so much that I still remember some of the stories we created for our Barbies.
I miss those days. Now we are miles apart and I wish we never grew up! I love them both so much! This is for u nangees!

JANINE

She was inspired by a beautiful pose and a beautiful outfit I found in a very old magazine. I used copic markers and colour pencils for her. She came out quite nice.

Illustrations must be practiced very oftenly. Sometimes I go weeks without touching a pencil and the girls start to look hideous and now I have promised my self to sketch at least thrice a week. I don’t want to lose the touch to draw my beautiful girls.

Hope u enjoy my JUDEEN!

Brooke Hagel

I have been reading and have been inspired by many fashion illustrators during the past few years. I want to make my blog an opportunity to write about them and how they inspired me to create my own girls and to follow my dream.
The first illustrator on my list is “BROOKE HAGEL”. I first saw her work on etsy and have fallen in love with all her creations since then. She’s the one who inspired me to follow my dream in a country where fashion illustration is never heard about!

I once wrote her a message on face book (when I was stuck at a 9-5 job in a small cubicle and was crying my heart out to get out of that place) and she kindly replied to me encouraging me to stick to what I like doing. Thanks Brook!
I am one of her biggest fans and I’m looking forward to purchase a print from her etsy shop!
Enjoy!

LOUISE

This is "LOUISE"-  I created her for the re-launch campaign of Dilly's back in July and she has brought me lots of happiness and success.
The Concept of LOUISE is described in the artworks below.  She was a part of the comic campaign we created for the re-launch of the Dilly's brand. there were five collections which represented different personalities.

Louise was altered to suit the comic theme we adapted for our campaign

PHOTOSHOP FANTASY

These are the first girls i painted on photoshop. They came out nice in standard to those days (2007), but now i see faults in the figures and faces and etc. but i don't love them any less.

Thanks to my Graphic Teacher "Ruban" for teaching us some wonderful techniques in a very short time.
Enjoy!

CASSANDRA

This is one of the best illustrations i have done so far. i drew this back in 2007 during my College days and she has remained to be one of my all time favorites.

I named her "Cassandra" from a book by Danielle steel, which is Russian. I like Russsian names since my own name is Russian, and i feel i have a connection :-)

Cassandra was drawn with water colors and color pencils. I've been wanting to frame the original since so long but me being the forgetful type, its still not framed.

Enjoy!
