Suzette

Hi all,

this is my new girl and i named her "Suzette'. I drew her like a million years ago and finally made up my mind to color her on photoshop.
she reminds me of one of the models from an 80's Jc penny catalogue! I just love the vintage Catalogues and the color block outfits.
I must Draw more, i haven't committed to drawing that much lately.

Enjoy!

Inspiration - Heather Fonseca

I came across this artists while i was researching about Barbie Dolls for my article, and she designs and illustrates fashion dolls. she has worked for Mattel.Inc designing Barbie dolls (my Dream Job) Her illustrations are so beautiful and it brings back memories of those carefree days spent playing and creating stories with my own Barbies.

check out some of her illustrations below and you can take a look at the dolls she created for Mattel.Inc and other projects on her website  http://heatherfonseca.com

you can read my article about the "Barbie Doll - Her Influence on Women" http://ludmilabopitiya.tumblr.com/post/6815319412/barbie-her-influence-on-women
